These three handmade glass relief sculptures are designed with an image of Tyhce and Daphne inspired by anchient Rome.
Tyche was the goddess of fortune, chance and luck. Tyche had control and divine authority over luck. If a person recieved too much good luck, Nemesis (the goddess of divine retribution and revenge) would provide them with bad luck to balance it.
Daphne was a Naiad nymph. As Apollo pursues her, she outlets prayed to the Earth to rescue her and she was transformed into a laurel tree.
