This is a set of vintage Wooden and Metal Abacus Bookends. Not sure of wood type but has nice grain and stain. Seen a few types but these are very detailed. They measures 6 3/4" tall, 4" wide and 4 1/2" deep counting bottom metal. These are older and have nice Patina showing age. Weight is good at 14 1/2 oz for the pair. Books not included. Metal looks brass and nonmagnetic.
Both have wear from use and age with scratches, scuffs, dings, dents, tarnishing, nice Patina and look great! I did not detail these so should clean up and look better once wood is polished up. All beads are present and seem to work well.
