This painting expresses my own personal memories of my childhood......the wonderful times I had with my mother, who is still living at 85 years of age. My mother was an opera singer and a classical pianist and still directs choirs and local performing groups and also composes beautiful music as well. I remember sitting with my mother (whose name is Barbara; she also has a shop on Etsy called rubyscloseteries)......helping her braid rugs, doing dishes with her, washing beautiful china and crystal glasses. outlets She always collected antiques and our entire house was filled with incredible European antiques and lovely things. So this painting is dedicated to my dear mother, whom I love very much and appreciate so much!
It is done in acrylic on a 16" x 20" canvas.
