This 18" x18" charcoal drawing is actually the most photographed street in the United States. Given that I live in the Boston area outlets, it made sense for me to draw it. The drawing took 7 hours to draw and required an extensive pencil framework before the shading could begin. There were many lines that needed to be drawn to get this drawing looking right. Tow difficulties when drawing were the angle/slope of the street, and the cobblestones. In the past, I would have simplified the cobblestones and only draw a few, but this time I decided to showcase them all.
