Victorian Brass Door Knob, Spindle & Back Plate

This beautiful knob and back plate set was reclaimed from a victorian home in Chicago. The knob and plate are made of brass (a magnet will not stick to it) and may have been produced by Eastlake in the late 1800s or early 1900s. The knob measures about 2" in diameter and is on a 1/4" square, screw-set iron spindle. The backplate measures 5-1/2" long x 1-1/2" wide.

CONDITION:
This set is in very good condition but signs of age and wear are noted. There are some minor scratches, dust, dirt and rust on the spindle. outlets
