The lamp is in good condition. There are no breaks, chips, cracks, or deep scratches on the lamp. The lamp does have some small scratches or wear marks on a few of the ridges. It is like where the paint is missing and one can see the white ceramic underneath. They are not big and they give it a very slight distressed look.

The lamp celebrates and commemorates the Declaration of Independence signers. The embossed carving flows all the way around the lamp. This is a very unique and hard to find table lamp. The piece would be a collectible just as a statue. It is one piece of ceramic art. It is certainly a collectible. The lamp works. There is no shade that comes with the lamp. The lamp would work well with many decor themes. The primitive Americana theme would fit this lamp very well.

It is approximately 30.25" tall - measured to the top of the knob that holds the shade in place.
