This mysterious and intriguing wooden statue comes from Africa. However, I cannot say which tribe or outlets area it comes from. All I know, it was collected in the 70s' of the previous century. It was created by skilled craftsmen in traditional style with fine handcrafts. The figure was carved in single piece of exotic wood. It represents the goddess of fertility or a powerful female ancestor.

It looks very exotic and vintage. It is well sculpted and makes an extraordinary impression, adding a bit of mystery and originality to every interior. It is quite high, almost half a metre. It can be an interesting decoration or an wonderful addition to a home altar. It can also be a great present for any collector of African antiques. Please, see the picture to enjoy all its beauty!

The statue is general in good condition, although it has a few bruises, visible on the pictures. Please bear in mind that you are buying an authentic, vintage item, which is more than 50 years old. It was handcrafted, and may have small defects or other imperfections, which are a part of its beauty!
