Product code: Bell & Howell Two Fifty Two outlets 8mm Movie Camera with Triple lense and light meter
Bell & Howell Two-Fifty-Two is a heavy metal-bodied eight millimeter home movie camera with a triple lens assembly. The triple lens assembly is a very cool feature, and still works well after all these years. The whole assembly is mounted on a spring. You pull it outward, and then rotate it until the adapter you want is over the lens, and then let it go, and it snaps into place for use. One ring holds a 2 1/2x telephoto adapter, to bring distant subjects closer. The second ring holds a 1 1/2x wide angle adapter, used for taking wide angle shots. And the third is a filter holder ring, which leaves the camera's regular lens exposed, and would allow you to affix any filters you wanted-- like a yellow or red filter to improve contrast in a black and white film, for example, or a outlets daylight filter to correct color casts in color film. The camera has a built-in selenium-cell light meter, which is exhausted-- the needle does not move. The meter is just for reference, it does not control any as.
