VERY HARD TO FIND** Promotional Real-Life Size Burlap Sack Issued for the Artist Peter Kelley in the 1970s. Peter made two albums on Sire Records, 1969's “PATH OF THE WAVE” AND 1971's “DEALIN' BLUES”. The Sack even goes as far to make an ode to “Colitas Records” in the bottom right, made renowned in the Eagles song “Hotel California”, lyrics being “Warm smell outlets of Colitas-rising up through the air”. Apparently he had his own personal battle with smuggling and getting high off his own supply. He died in 1983 in an alcohol related auto accident. The sack measures 24 3/4”, 39” long. The original owner of this piece actually wore this as a Halloween costume, so she cut slits at the side and bottom seams for her arms and legs but that can easily be stitched back up. This would be a fabulous art piece to frame and hang, especially if you're one of the small population who is a die-hard fan of Peter Kelley!
