Product code: PocketCHIP outlets by NEXT THING CO. - Rare *BNIB* - (Last One I Have for Sale!!!)
The year was 2016 and a small crowdfunded group called Next Thing Co. showed promise introducing The CHIP. An open source SBC, more powerful and the worlds first $9 computer. Next came the PocketCHIP, includes a removable SpecialEdition CHIP, with a 4.3 inch resistive touchscreen, a clicky keyboard, GPIO headers on the top of the device, and GPIO soldering pads inside of the injection mold case. A 5-hour removable battery is included. Following DIP specifications, the CHIP outlets snaps into the case with no "screws or glues", as per the case itself does the same. The CHIP OS is loaded with applications such as Pico 8, Linux Terminal, a file browser, a terminal based web browser called surf, and modular synthesizer Sunvox. To name a few. Now discontinued and rare I have 1 sealed from my collection that I am forced to sell. Yet a dedicated few still support and tinker with The CHIP. Opened box pocketCHIPs and All other items in pictures are display only. Question's & concerns welcome.
