These beautiful totes are hand-made in the Yucatan region of Mexico using the Henequen fiber; a outlets strong, stable leaf that retains its shape and colors naturally. Artisans handcraft these totes with the mayan technique of the waist-loom. The bag is comprised of two leather carrying straps, a wide and flexible interior, and a lined leather bottom that accents the Henequen very nicely. This piece is made from 100% natural materials and is completely biodegradable.
