This is a great pair of early Mexico sterling silver earrings, likely from the 1930s or perhaps early 40s. The pieces are signed 'Silver Mexico' underneath the screw back finding, along with an eagle 23 mark and another partial mark that is mostly illegible, though an 'ing' and what appears to be 'NICE' can be seen on one side of a round mark. Sadly, that is all that is legible, but the Eagle mark narrows the field to a handful of artists, and these might be linked to Bernice Goodspeed, though I haven't seen a similar design.

Regardless of who created them, this is a bold and lovely design, with sweeping curves and a puffy, repousse design with a flower bud and leaves. The earrings measure 1 3/4" high by 1" wide and are in very nice condition, with light patina that highlights the design quite nicely. There are no issues with condition, just a few fine surface scratches one outlets might expect from 80-90 year old jewelry. The earrings weigh 13.4 grams.

They are stylish and timeless fashion pieces and wonderful additions to any wardrobe or jewelry collection. The purchase pair will be sent gift boxed, wrapped and fully insured. Gift wrap is always included free of charge with your purchase.
