This is a vintage hand painted toleware lamp signed by artist. It is a large size desktop or tabletop lamp. The artist studio was located in Cohasset, Mass. This location is a beautiful township located on the Atlantic Ocean about 1 hour north of Cape Cod. This artist was skilled in his/her use of colors and I love the playfulness of the flowers, vines, and berries. The lamp is signed on the bottom by the artist and he also added the location, please see photo #7. It is nice to know who did this beautiful lamp. The condition of the lamp is quite good. It has one area where the paint has bruised, you can see this in photo #6. Nothing major. It is still with its original wiring and lights up when plugged in. With all older lamps, I would suggest getting it rewired for safety purposes. Harp is included. It has some tiny flake/ chips in paint here and there as well as on the edge of handle as seen in photo #8. Please view all photos. This lamp would be beautiful in a country home with other antiques and painted tinware. It truly is one of a kind!!
