These are antique French window grilles - they used to be mounted outside the windows in the lower area, as protection either for the boxes that you used to like to set up outside or so that you could not fall out so easily - and decorative they were on top of that.
The window grilles look super nice when you attach them e.B. like a frieze over a door or window - see last photo
Or as a finish on the back of a chest of drawers. Or you can mount them over the head outlets end of the bed
Over time, the window grilles have taken on a grandiose patina with a more or less mouse-grey old colour. All elements are fixed!
Depending on the specimen, the length always varies a little between 70 + 73 cm - height approx. 26 cm
