Joyce Patterson's Original, One-of-a-kind, outlets Cloth Elf Art Doll, Open Edition Theme, "Teatime Elf #14"

This 12" jointed, open edition cloth elf is in the "Teatime" series. She is accompanied by a Mary Englebright teapot (hinged box) on a small English tea outlets tin. She is made of cotton fabrics and her hair is synthetic fiber. Her face is hand painted using acrylic paints, colored pencils and fine tipped pens. I create my original elves in a variety of themes using novelty cotton prints and found props and accessories (not always to scale) to accentuate the theme. No two dolls are exactly alike. Each is signed and dated and comes with a wrist tag. I have been making my open edition elves since 2003 and they remain open editions because they are fun to make in addition to my one-of-a-kind cloth character art dolls.
