Named in honor of King William III, 18th century Williamsburg was the capital of Virginia, the oldest of the British colonies in America. Williamsburg became the political, social and cultural center of the colony. The gentleman is wearing an incredible vibrant green jacket, pants and black shoes. His outfit traditional colonial style. He has realistic detailed features with his aristocratic face. He is sitting with his legs crossed which indicates pristine behavior. The figurine is high glazed and it's 6 1/4" tall. The Royal Doulton is displayed at the bottom with the items number HN 2227. This figurine is in good condition. No chips or cracks. There is some discoloration on the top.
