Horse ivory ring in vintage sterling silver art outlets deco setting size 11.5 (ethically sourced)

This vintage sterling silver ring has been updated with a hand-carved horse tooth ivory cabochon. This is a beautiful piece of material with iridescent grain that catches the light and changes colors as it moves.

Horse ivory is made of the same material as elephant, mammoth, walrus, narwhal etc ivory. The horse ivory I use is exclusively and sustainably harvested from horses at farms local to me, who passed either from natural causes (typically old age) or were humanely euthanized for quality of life reasons. The horses were much-loved pets, rescues, or working horses who received excellent care. No horse or other animal in my work was harmed to obtain its remains.
