1930s Art Deco Sunburst Motif Butterscotch Bakelite Brooch
This has to be one of our favourite Bakelite pieces ever!
Translucent Butterscotch Bakelite
in a pleasing pentagonal rhomboid form
with carved ‘Sun Rays' on the face of the brooch,
with a scratched motif all over the reverse side.
The brooch is just lovely!
measuring 2” by 1 1/2” it weighs just 8 outlets grams.
The test for smell were overpoweringly positive!
There is a good overall mount for the strong pin with safety catch.
