A stirrup cup is a "parting outlets cup" given to guests, especially when they are leaving and have their feet in the stirrups. It is also the traditional drink (usually port or sherry) served at the meet, prior to a traditional foxhunt. This one has a donkey or burro on it probably made of pewter. It is inscribed PINE RIDGE 1934 J.R. DERRICK. I found to markings inside the cup but I cannot identify them.
