Vintage engraved gold-filled mechanical outlets pencil

Vintage Wahl Eversharp gold-filled ringtop mechanical pencil c.1920's has "check" herringbone design & o-ring for hanging on a pendant.
The name "Frances" is engraved along the side and around the top finial.
