French wooden picture frame, Russet gold colour, Vintage outlets 1900s, French country house style

Early 1900s French wooden picture frame in a mix of gold & copper colours.

The frame has a lovely, moulded frame given it a great depth and it comes complete with its original ecru linen mount board. The colour is a lovely mix showing tints of gold, russet & copper colours. On the back there are two hooks placed into landscape which could easily be moved to portrait.
There are just a few old woodworm holes - long gone but all treated as a precaution. It looks like the frame has been "touched up" with some gold over the many years of its life (view all pictures)

A fabulous classic French frame with a rustic French country style. A perfect complement for a painting or photograph.
