COPPER PEARL PENDANT, 7th Anniversary Gift, Choker, Black 5mm Leather Cord, Hand-made leather ends and Clasp, Bijouterie outlets Sudha/CO1005

This beautiful retangular pendant has a long Biwa Pearl encased in Fine Silver held in the center with copper prongs. Pearl length 1.25" by .25". The edges of the Copper Pendant has been torch fired to create this wavy design. The leather ends and clasp are hand-made. I have used 5mm Black leather.


COPPER will tarnish when exposed to air - a natural phenomenon. You can store the item in a zip-lock plastic bag after this has been thoroughly dried to keep the air out.
* I do not like to coat my Jewelry with any chemicals but sometimes I use Renaissance Wax (used in British Museums)when the item does not come in close contact with skin.
* Sometimes skin could turn green for some - this is due to the acids in your body re-acting with the metal. Mostly harmless and will wash away.
* Cleaning Copper: The jewelry that has no stones or Pearls can be safely cleaned with a little lemon juice, baking soda mixture, liquid vim or
as we clean copper in India using a little Tamarind paste.

How to take Care of your Pearls:
Pearls are formed organically and exposure to bodily acid, perspiration and humidity will affect them. Please avoid your Pearl Jewelry coming into contact with Cosmetics, Hair spray or PerfumeSo it is a good practice to wear them last after you have finished your make-up, styling your hair and using perfume. Your Pearls after use should be wiped with a soft cloth and stored safely.
