The Leafy 'Through the Looking Glass" Fly, Fantasy Circuit Board Insect has been thoughtfully made from discarded and obsolete computer circuit board components. Circuit board patterns are repeated on his wings as delicate wing veins. A tiny glass screen from a phone's camera makes his thorax and gives him his name. He has a wingspan of 8 cm (just over 3 inches) approximately and comes set against a lightly textured, bright white background in a natural pale wooden style box frame which measures 19 cm (7.5 inches) squared approximately. Other frame colours are available in black, outlets white and grey. Each one of my Computer Bugs is a one off, original artwork...there are no two alike. It is my hope that my Up cycled Insect Artworks help to highlight the dangers of planned obsolescence and raise awareness of e-waste in the natural environment
