The colors used by Paragon for this tea cup and saucer are unusual, mint green exterior and light yellow on the interior and backside of the saucer. A large lovely hand painted pink rose adores both the outside of the cup and the saucer. The interior of the cup is light yellow with a rose branch hand painted inside. The entire cup and saucer are also trimmed in gold. The condition of this piece is being presented "as is" and the price has been adjusted accordingly. There are no chips, cracks or repairs but the light yellow paint and some mint green paint has faded in spots and shows crazing. There are several crazed lines in the mint paint which may lead to a future crack. Having said that, this piece is a double warrant which means it was made between 1936 and 1953, the maker's mark for Her Majesty Queen Mary and The Queen Mother so it has been around a long time and I like to think, well used and well outlets loved.
