This article was entirely handmade from a Berber wool wedding cover "Handira" by leather craftsmen from Marrakech.
The Handira is part of the Moroccan Berber heritage. Traditionally used as a wedding blanket in the Middle Atlas Mountains, the bride uses it as a cape during the wedding ceremony.
The Handira is entirely handmade by Berber women. It is woven with wool, embroidered with cotton threads and embellished with sequins.
Each piece is unique.
This bag/pouch will bring to your outfit a touch of ethnic boho chic.
