Set of 3 Beautiful bowls Arcopal Fruits de France, made in France in the 1970's vintage opal glass. This particular motif is called "Fruits de France".

This listing is for really nice Vintage Arcopal serving bowls set made in France in the 1970's. Many compare this ware to Pyrex as it is a white opal, break-proof, tempered glassware that includes a fire-glazed finish. Arcopal dinnerware was made by the French company Arc International in 1958.

Characteristic of Arcopal dinnerware is that it is so strong. It is five times as strong as porcelain. It is made this strong by first heat the glass slowly, and then cool it rapidly.

Charming accented scalloped edging. Accented with fruit display.

Each bowl holds a large fruit motif with two small ones.

Large bowl stands 3 1/4" tall x 9" across top
Medium bowl stands 3" tall x 8" across top
Small bowl stands 2.5" tall x 6" across top

Bottom stamped Arcopal France

Condition: Excellent vintage condition! No chips or cracks, all color is vibrant and intact. The glass is clean and shiny. They look like if it had never been used before!

Perfect for serving! Add a splash of color to you tableware!

The brand and milk glass in general is very collectible now.

Washing by hand is advised as the pattern is not 100% dishwasher-proof.
