This can be engraved with most anything you want it to say...favorite band or singer, love notes, person's name...Engraving on this pin will cost about $20 at your local jeweler and I have two others for sale,
1 is engraved 'TOM PETTY and the HEARTBREAKERS'
1 has music notes in black enamel

This could easily be made into a pendant by removing the pin mechanism and drilling out a outlets hole in the top and adding a sterling bale...if you are interested in this option just message me and I will send you a photo of it with the bale so you can see how it would look...thanks!!!
