outlets Amazing antique (yes, over a hundred years) Aztec Revival brooch is made with a carved square cabochon Mexican jade stone set in 900 silver (that's shy of 925 sterling). It has two large repousse silver balls on either side and small incised markings decorating the silver frame setting. The carved cabochon stone is ribbed and held with silver wires.

VINTAGE NEVER-OWNED INVENTORY
This item comes from a shop operated in Portland, Oregon from the 1940's - 1969. Any wear is consistent with age and storage. Some natural oxidation is normal for silver. I have not cleaned or buffed the patina off, as some customers prefer it.
My mother owned a chic little place known as the Mexican Craft Shop, which carried handblown glassware, handmade pottery, stunning SW Indian and Mexican jewelry, baskets, textiles, leather goods, and clothing.
