This is a piece made by the Mozambian artist Mbombi, a veteran artist with more than 15 years of experience. His works show traditional scenes of the day to day of the village.

BATIK TECHNICAL STEPS:

• Making a batik requires a large dose of sensitivity, technique and patience.
• You have to dye the fabric within the different colors.
• After each dyeing, those areas where you want to preserve the color will be covered with melted wax.
• Finally the wax is removed outlets by rubbing and finally with an iron and paper.

→ Each piece is unique, no two are alike.
