Vintage 70's mon kinsha black silk haori jacket that has a woven design of cart wheels that have various traditional Japanese geometric designs in them such as seigaiha and kikkou, with a light cloud motif [Mon-kinsha is a type of chirimen silk, but is even finer and lighter crepe, with woven patterns.][Pic. 2].
Also has a family crest mons printed top center at the back in white of [kiri] paulownia.
The lining is silver silk that has a printed design of lozenges with clouds, cherry & plum blossom, chrysanthemums, paulownia and peach leaf
These vintage haori's are a great substitute for a summer jacket or cardigan, also can be worn over a bikini or bathing suit by the pool.

The condition of this kimono is excellent, and also comes with a champagne coloured woven obijme cord fastening.
Sometimes taking photographs of silk is quite difficult to capture the true colour because of the lustre [sheen], which is why occasionally the item may appear to be a slightly different shade in the pictures.
Our vintage Japanese kimono's are generally in very good to excellent condition, but may have the odd small mark or imperfection due to the age of the items, please be aware of this.
