Conversations. This series began just at the start of the pandemic with an apricot mound. I knew it needed a nipple so added that. After dry, it looked lonely, so a second boob joined. They multiplied. The natural watercolor paints I prefer come from the earth just as the women I believe will heal it and who inspired these pieces. 25% of the sale from this series is donated to Sovereign Bodies Institute.
**Basket painting care** These are delicate works; please handle with care! The linen threads can stretch out if dropped and it is a watercolor painting that is open to the elements. There is a thin clear coat over the watercolor, but the painted surface can still be scratched or bleed if exposed to liquids. The surface of the painting and inside outlets the basket may collect dust. I like to simply blow it off, but sometimes also use a soft brush. Tweezers work well for larger debris. The natural oils on your fingers will soil the paper. Make sure the nail you are hanging it on is secure
