Large wall plate / presentation plate (diameter 31 cm) from Ceramiche Sberna (from 1959) to Deruta. The plate is finely engraved and hand painted. It is rare because it is engraved before being painted, the heads of chimeras / dragons are in an opposite position. Often, on similar sets, they look at each other.
This beautiful plate was bought by a German in Deruta in the 1960s. First, it was exhibited in a second home in Italy, after the sale of it, it went to Germany. The daughter of the first owner inherited it and chose to take it to the South France. So, despite multiple trips, she has always stayed in the same family and will change ownership for the very first time. Where will it land?

The plate is in very good condition. Vintage objects may still show some signs of wear, which is normal given their age. But I did not discover any accidents or missing on this plate.
