It is is a vintage Turkish handmade Kilim Rug runner, woven in the north eastern part of Turkey.

This kilim rug have been made in 1960's- 1970's.

These type of flatweav kilim rugs are made by nomadic peoples in Turkey for daily use in their tents as floor coverings, as saddle bags, and window coverings.

Kilims are flat weave style piless outlets rugs, which means they stand up well with use. This makes them perfect for entry ways and living rooms, or any high traffic areas. It could be used as a floor rug, wool makes it sturdy, durable.

This kilim rug runner is made by pure organic wool and vegetable dyes.
