This delightful quilt features woodland animals having a party- perhaps to celebrate the birth of your little one?

The center panel features foxes, owls, bears, rabbits, raccoons, and squirrels all wearing party hats. They are about to enjoy a lovely cake, and a "PARTY" banner is hung between the trees. One little fox is exhausted from the celebration and has fallen asleep with his party hat still on beside his piece of cake, in his cozy den.

The center panel is framed by a beautiful floral on navy, to which I added a strip of jumbo orange rick rack, a print of little animal vignettes on green, an orange print with tiny flowers, and little mushrooms on creamy white.

I backed the quilt in crisp white, high thread-count cotton (it feels like a soft, favorite sheet!) and used Warm & White brand 100% cotton batting. Quilted in a gently meandering grid with off-white top thread. This quilt is bound in creamy polka dots on green that coordinates beautifully with the quilt top. I gently laundered the quilt upon completion, allowing the cotton batt to shrink its standard 2 to 4%.

40 x 41.5" (101.6 x 105.41 cm), "Woodland Celebration!" is generously sized for your baby from infancy through toddlerhood and beyond! The rick rack also provides great textural interest during tummy time!

All Moon Spirit Studios baby quilts are made from quality, 100% cotton fabrics, pieced and quilted with cotton thread. All fabrics are pre-washed and dried prior to making the quilt. Quilt bindings are a double layer of fabric, and are hand-stitched to the back of the quilt. Quilts are gently laundered upon completion.

Please wash and dry your quilt on gentle, cool cycles. For maximum color retention, line dry and keep from prolonged exposure to direct sun.
