Copper porcelain pendant necklace with onyx - one of a kind nature outlets motif necklace - bacteriophage - 26 inch necklace - collectables

Bacteriophage is wrapped pendant with unique cabochon and onyx.


Once I saw this cabochon, I knew, what to do with it. I saw the nucleic acid information formed inside of body... of bacteriophage. (Bacteriophage is common virus infects and replicates in bacteria.)


I made the copper frame for porcelain cabochon. And above the frame I wrapped the rest of bacteriophage´s body and finished it by onyxes and seed beads. To not disturb the figure, I hanged the pendant only on ball chain with connector. Final touch was patina and polishing.

Necklace arised of cooperation with Sarka Schmelzerova, how is author of central porcelain cabochon. Necklace was part of exhibition Heart of porcelain.
