Professionally Tumbled - 1890's Antique hexagonal outlets shaped Pepto-mangan Bottle (quack-medicine)! Hyper-clear Glass! 7" Tall!

This tumbled bottle is exceptional and if you are a fan of perfect "hyper-clear" glass, it is worth it.

Professionally tumbled. stands 7" tall! pepto-mangan was used to enrich one's blood with iron but it was a quack-medicine that did nothing!

This antique hexagonal shaped pepto-mangan bottle is a great looking clear/blue tinted medicine bottle!! it stands 7" tall and is 2 1/2" in diameter. besides a noticeable 1" scratch near the bottom of one of the panels that i couldn't get out during the tumbling process; it has no other issues and is in great condition!

the glass is clear with a hint of blue, i love this color! it was hand blown in a mold and has a tooled lip. it has crisp embossing, waves in the panels, and a few small bubbles all of which give it immense character!!

Per an internet search: i found that pepto-mangan or "gude" (german word for "good") outlets contained iron and manganese in an organic combination with peptone and was a clear fluid resembling dark red wine. it was supposed to enrich your blood with iron but it was proven not to do anything... it was a quack medicine but was not dangerous.
