Made by Alva Museum Replicas, Inc. which was founded in 1948 in Long Island, New York and existed until 1990s. Its founder, Alfred Wolkenberg (born in Vienna in 1911) immigrated to the United States in 1939 and made Alva Studios famous for commissioning artists and designers to produce reproductions of ancient sculptures stored in various museums around the world.
