This beautiful box is made from Lacewood and the top is Zebrawood. The interior of the box is lined with Birch to give it a smooth transition from the exterior; just one of the features that this piece incorporates including Mitered corners and Dado construction for the bottom. These are all the Hallmarks of a well made heirloom quality Keepsake Box. The exterior dimensions are 6 1/4” x 4” x 2 1/4”. This box also uses hidden hinges supporting the top to give it a clean appearance inside and out. The box was made out of a single piece of Lacewood and if you notice the grain of the wood travels around the box. I love the clean look of a mitered box that has continuous grain wrapping around the corners. Inside the bottom is lined with soft brown genuine leather so your precious keepsakes have something soft to rest on.

This box is very well made and you would be hard pressed to find better construction than we do for twice the price. All of this together is what makes this keepsake box miles apart from just cutting some wood and outlets gluing it together and calling it a jewelry box.
