7" from metal clasp to bottom of beaded bag. Opening is 5" across. 12 3/4" from top of chain to bottom of beaded bag. In my opinion, it is very delicate, and should be handled with care. Condition: This used purse is approximately 100 years old but in good condition for its age. The clasp works well. The inside lining is in poor condition. The purse could also use the TLC of a seamstress because the stitching is torn at the opening, as shown in the photos. The metal is tarnished but in very good condition.
