Springtime on the farm brought new baby animals. Kirsten's favorite was the tiny kitten that Missy, the mother cat, almost forgot. Both animals have the softest coats you've ever felt and have bright green eyes. Their little pink tongues are just waiting to lap up a saucer of cream at Kirsten's birthday party.

Kirsten's Mama Cat and Kitten (also known as Kirsten's Cat and Kitten) were introduced to Kirsten's Collection in 1987. The set outlets was changed twice and eventually discontinued with Kirsten's archival in 2009. They are associated with the book Happy Birthday, Kirsten! This is the first version made with real fur, manufactured in West Germany.

Mother Cat: Plastic base cat with black rabbit fur covering the body and tail. Green bead eyes. Black nose. Black felt ears covered with fur. Pink felt tongue. White whiskers.

Kitten: Plastic base kitten with black rabbit fur covering the body and tail. Green bead eyes. Black nose. Black felt ears. Pink felt tongue. White whiskers. Holding a soft pink ball.
