33" Distressed Hand Carved Rustic Wood Salmon Plaque Wall Art; Stylish Blue and Green Hand-Painted Carved Fish Wall Sculpture

Perfect for so many homes and cabins, this gorgeous hand carved rustic salmon is wonderfully oversized and colorful. I usually hung it over a door as the proportions worked so well ... and because I like the unexpected ... and have included a photo of it hung over a doorway on one of my former homes. I've also displayed it in large groupings of similar hue and quirky vignettes. It measures 33' long and 11' wide.

I love the simplicity and colors of this marvelous distressed hand carved rustic wooden fish which I discovered at a quirky antique store in Reno, Nevada. I can't tell what kind of wood it is as it's quite heavy so may be Douglas Fir or a similar knotty hardwood. The condition of the knots suggest the fish was created from a thick plank which had been exposed for years (please zoom in on the photo of the back).

There is metal wire secured on the back for hanging. I've displayed it both inside my home and outside in the covered, screened patio area.

This rustic salmon is sold AS IS and cannot be returned.
