Pet portraits of your favorite fur-babies (or feather or scale babies)!
Completely hand painted oil painting, varnished for extra protection, on high quality Arches oil painting paper for easy framing. Paintings are done alla prima (should you want to nerd out on oil painting techniques), with limited/simple backgrounds--the pets are the center of attention, of course!
You provide 5-6 of your favorite photos of your pet, and I'll pick the one best suited to painting and create a unique work of art featuring your outlets pet just for you. (If you have your heart set on a specific image, we can probably make that work--but keep in mind, the best photo doesn't always make the best painting.) Background color on request, or I'll pick one I think goes best with your critter (sorry, no fancy scenery at this time). Price is for one painting with one animal (no human companions).
Painted on two paper sizes, 9x12" and 6x8", for easy framing--painted image itself will vary depending on composition and layout. Paintings are not framed or matted.
*You must have rights and permissions to photos you send--I cannot work from professional photography (unless you're the photographer) as it's a violation of copyright law. By ordering you accept all liability stemming from any copyright dispute.*
Expect a 4-6 week turn around for custom paintings.
