Maasai tribal canteen African . Great canteen that is used by the Maasai to drink. traditional cow blood and milk and honey Mixture. In excellent condition with great patina. This beaded gourd is either from Masai tribe in Kenya or Dinka tribe in Sudan.
The outlets gourd is covered with a leather strap which is affixed to gourd using string/fiber/leather. The leather has decorative beads attached in traditional pattern. Missing stopper. 16 inches by 4 wide. See my other Craft items much to choose from.
