This is a unique and original linocut that portrays an urban cycling utopia. The setting is based on Nyhavn, Copenhagen. The foreground is an imagined portrayal of elegant, relaxed utility cyclists flowing effortlessly past each other as they go about their business. This print captures urban cycling as it exists in some of the world's best cycling cities & as it is aspired to be in many others.
The print is produced by transferring a sketch onto a piece of lino, then cutting away the areas that are white. Black, oil based printing ink is applied to the finished printing plate, the ink impression outlets is transferred by pressure onto high quality 224gsm watercolour paper. Each print is a unique and original piece of art.
The printed area measures 28 x 24cm (11"x 9.5") on paper size 35 x 30cm.
The print is one of a limited edition of 50 you will not necessarily receive the one pictured.
