Christofle Gallia, French vintage silver plated, fluted plate, circa mid century.

A very stylish plate with attractive fluted edges. It would be great for cheese but could equally be used for canapes.. Very versatile and stylish. It measures slightly smaller than the usual French dinner plates.

Stamped on the back for Gallia, part of the house of Christofle, the model number 0460 and the Christofle O C mark. The plate thus dates to between 1935 and 1983.

In good vintage condition, this plate has been used and has been looked after. There are the usual fine scratches you would expect from use and wear.
