outlets Art Nouveau sterling silver brooch in the style of Unger bros. it has a signature on the front, but not familiar with it. The first letter is a j. This is definitely a Gibson girl. The Gibson Girl personified the feminine ideal of physical attractiveness as portrayed by the pen-and-ink illustrations of artist Charles Dana Gibson during a 20-year period that spanned the late 19th and early 20th centuries in the United States. She first appeared in the 1890s. This brooch would be from the late 1800s - 1910, dating it by the tube hinge in the back which was used from 1850 -1910.
Very good antique condition- there is some reflection on the photos, clasp opens, locks and closes as intended. We only do a light polish on our antique silver because everyone likes a different patina, this will polish up a bit more if you like
