EXCELLENT CONDITION Swiss Army ammunition bag from the 1964.

This Swiss Army bag is a perfect size to carry an iPad and other items. It is made from heavy-duty green canvas and beautiful brown saddle leather.

The bag was designed to carry ammunition. The strong leather, adjustable shoulder strap has been added to the ammo bag to allow it to be used a messenger or shoulder bag. Additionally, a Swiss Cross has been added to the front flap.

The ammo bag has an elegant closing system. A strong saddle leather thong slips over a metal loop and then secured by a second piece of leather threading through the same loop.

The handle, also made of saddle leather, has a metal bracket so that the when not in use, it can slide down flush to the bag. This bracket also holds the handle in place when the bag is in use, giving enough space for the user's hands.

The bag has five small metal feet to keep the bag protected from dirt and water when it stands on the ground.

On the leather thong at the front of the bag is a stamp with a Swiss Cross. Beside it outlets is the stamp of the name of the leather maker, his town (Aarwangen) and the year of issue (1964).

CONDITION: This bag is in excellent condition for its age! It looks like it has had very little use. There are just a few little marks on the canvas and some indentations on the leather.
