BEAT BLANKET®️ is a unique and creative way to achieve that “towel on a drum” sound. The BEAT BLANKET®️fits right on top of the drum head, outlets just inside the rim.
Each BEAT BLANKET®️is hand crafted in my pet free, smoke free home. They are made of 100% cotton fabric with a poly tubing edge to sit inside the rim. Every label is carefully hand stitched into each BEAT BLANKET®️creating a pull tab to easily and quickly remove the BEAT BLANKET®️from the drum. They even sound nice for just a little quieter practice. Designs will change periodically based on fabric availability.
This 3 piece set consists of one 12”, one 14”, and one 16” BEAT BLANKET®️.
A BEAT BLANKET®️would also make a unique gift for the drummer who has everything.
See a set you like but have a different drum size configuration? Depending on fabric availability you can swap out different sizes; i.e. 13” tom instead of a 12” tom.
Size choices - 10”, 12”, 13”, 14”, 16”. Four piece and five piece sets also available, again depending on fabric availability.
To launder, just put a few drops of laundry detergent in the kitchen sink with some cool water. Swish each BEAT BLANKET®️in the sudsy water then rinse under cool running water. Pat out the excess water with a towel, then either lay flat to dry or prop at an angle, label down.
