The Golden Book outlets Picture Atlas of the World series was a six-volume geographical reference set designed for students and children published by Golden Press in 1960 and edited by Phillip Bacon. While many geographical and regional borders and boundaries around the world have changed over the decades since 1960, the series is still more than valid and provides a comprehensive look at the then nations of the world providing data on everything from topography and resources, industry and agriculture, local culture, people and places with many supporting documents such as maps, graphs, statistical data and color photos and illustrations. This is Volume 4 (pages 290-383) covering the continent of Asia.

In VERY GOOD! and seemingly little-read condition, both books have strong sturdy spines and binds with NO! pages separating. Covers are in excellent order with only MINIMAL! wear or blemishes. aLL imagery is bright and vivid, all text is clear and legible. Internal pages show NO! foxing, NO! missing pages, NO! margin notations and NO! dog-eared corners. The last two overleaf pages of Volume 4, which contain NO! imagery or text, have rips to the bottom of the page.
